Description
The Japanese "kokedama" is a creative botanical technique that grows plants in a ball of soil covered in moss. The craft of kokedama is a reflection of the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, the art of appreciating beauty in the world's natural imperfection.
Honor Your Roots is all about connecting to Mother Earth.
We begin with an opening circle and a simple 10-minute meditation to get you grounded and present.
Throughout the workshop, you will be presented with opportunities to deepen your awareness and appreciation for the earth elements you are working with.
While forming your kokedama, you will set your intention for your plant which will energetically charge it.
The idea is for this intention to arise in you each time you care for the plant in your own space. You'll actually be watering your intentions.
