Description
Who doesn't love chocolate? Join Melissa Gomez, cacao expert at the Houston Botanic Garden for a uniquely delicious experience where you will learn about the roots of your chocolate- Cacao. Cacao is the Fruit that chocolate is made from. In this workshop you will learn about the origins, uses, and spiritual significance of the Cacao plant and its seeds. There will be a chocolate making portion as well as a ceremony to honor the sacred chocolate of Central and South America that we have come to know as our beloved chocolate today.
