Celebrating Conservation
Description
Join us for important conversations, light bites, and tasty beverages, as we celebrate native plants and the conservation success stories that have unfolded around our great city. The evening will be capped off with a lecture by the wonderful Doug Tallamy, entomologist, ecologist, and conservationist, from the University of Delaware.
Doug is known nation-wide as the guru of habitat gardening. He has authored and co-authored several books on the subject and given countless interviews and talks around the country. In his lecture, he will share how we can restore nature’s crucial relationships and biodiversity at our own homes. As Doug says, we can do this! One person at a time!
