In turn, thoughtfully selected plants provide birds with food, shelter, nesting sites, and seasonal resources. In this special installment of Gardening 101 -- a monthly series that covers everything new gardeners need to know to start keeping and caring for their own garden at home -- in honor of Houston Bird Week, participants will learn how to add beauty and life to their landscape by gardening especially for birds.
