This Mother's Day – Sunday, May 12 – Join us for the inaugural Mother’s Day Walk and wellness experience, hosted by Houston Running Co., Houston Botanic Garden, and Ephesus Investments. The two-mile immersive journey through the garden features prompts, activities, and installations designed to nurture special moments and  lasting memories. 

Highlights of the event include planting, music, and art projects; complimentary wellness and biohacking treatments by Albi Wellness Center; practitioner-assisted stretch sessions by Stretch Zone Pearland; a special appearance and obstacle course by NBC’s American Ninja Warrior Trainer and Competitor Sam Sann; a Give Back Area to contribute to a community art mural and food delivery bag decorating; auctions and raffles; the Zim Sculpt Exhibition featuring a live sculpting demonstration; reflection areas, meditation, movement, and conversation prompts by Myra Johnson; a Discovery Zone for children with various activities; and a VIP experience with complimentary bites by Bollo, drinks, beauty treatments from BloBar Memorial and Post Oak,  a professional photo opp, and a swag bag full of gifts for the first 100 moms.

We invite you to participate in our in-kind supply drive benefiting the Salvation Army Jones Family Residence Center, which houses homeless moms and children, and Kids Meals, Inc., an organization that delivers food to underserved children in Harris and Montgomery Counties.

Please bring any of the items listed below with you to check in. Your contribution will help us deliver these essential items to families in great need. By joining us, you'll not only create cherished memories with Mom but also make a meaningful difference in the lives of Houston moms in crisis and families in need.

Salvation Army Jones Residence Supply Drive:

• Baby Supplies: Formula, food, bottles, pacifiers, diapers, wipes.
• Hygiene Products: Purchased and unused items such as hand sanitizer, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste, razors, deodorant, hairbrushes and combs, and feminine hygiene products.
• Sanitizing Items: Antibacterial spray or wipes, bleach, dish or laundry detergent.
• Paper Products: Paper towels, tissues, and toilet paper.

Kids Meals Supply Drive:

• 100% Juice boxes.
• Brown paper lunch bags, ziplock bags.
• Wheat crackers, pretzels, granola bars, peanut butter, tuna packs, jerky, shelf-stable chicken salad.
• Fruit cups, applesauce, dried fruit.
